Part streaming is a beta technology that was introduced across the SCR network as a replacement of existing StreamingEnabled feature on Roblox to prevent some issues such as failing to load tracks and paddles. The aim of this technology is to reduce lag for most of the players caused by the network's size and the high amount of parts loaded.
In Version 1.6, the part streamer system was updated to give priority groups instead of just tracks. The system was partially retired in Version 1.8.
Functionality
As can be seen from its name, it streams the parts in the game. It loads up the parts first, but does not show them to the player. When player approaches a place, the part streamer brings back all the parts to the player again. Unlike the existing part streamer in Roblox, the streamer in this game will load tracks and paddles first.
Trivia
- Sometimes when a player has slow internet or other issues occured, the part streamer may be slower than usual to bring the parts back to the player.
- As confirmed on the former roadmap, this feature will be replaced as soon as the track loading problem is fixed.
