Other changes
There were also other changes that were undocumented for this update.
- Stepford Central has also added a statue of Stece_Sama near the Main Approach spawn.
- The price of the Class 143 was increased to 2,000 points, from 1,000 points.
- As part of the update, the Hub Site was released to the public after a closed beta test.[2]
- Platform numbers at all stations are now coloured to reflect their operator.
Reception
- This update introduced the new train movement system which made trains accelerate more realistically. However, upon release, many players found this slower acceleration/deceleration hard to use compared to the old train movement (namely overshooting platforms or eating buffers), and demanded that the old movement system be added as an option.
- Since release, ghost trains would appear in depots and sidings. These ghost trains did not exist in game and blocked any spawning of trains at the spawn point.
- Despite the attempted fix in V2.0.1, ghost trains still appeared.
- With the opening of the Rayleigh Bay Branch, Edgemead was overhauled and now serves as the connection between the Stepford Main Line and the branch. However, only Platform 1 is equipped to serve trains entering and leaving the branch. As it is now also the terminating platform, coupled with many players wanting to visit the new branch, a lot of trains were backed up to Leighton City and Westercoast due to the large volume of trains wanting to entering Edgemead Platform 1.
- Many players criticised this and had requested a capacity upgrade at Edgemead. However, management have denied this due to the recency of the overhaul and that the congestion would decrease after a while.
Trivia
- Over time, multiple non-official sneak peeks have been released by the developers in chat channels of the official Discord server, which contain no new information about the update. Among other things, some images have shown snippets from the changelog showing the amount of different changelog entries or screenshots of Roblox Studio.
- None of the rescaled trains got their bogies updated to have the correct proportions. As a result, they are all either oversized or undersized, depending on how the train was rescaled.
- Tying with Version 1.5, Version 2.0 has the fewest patch updates, moving on to V2.0.1 before updating to Version 2.1.
- The trailer was created by Dweller, and was inspired by Ding - A short Metro film, a trailer which SquadFam9000 created for a side project called CashCraft.
Sneak peeks

Notes
- ↑ Train delay announcements were broken on release and were not available in game until Version 2.2.
