The Operations Director is the director responsible for the operations all around SCR, consisting of rank trainings, and the coordination of recruitment of Supervisors within the Driving, Dispatching, Guarding and Signalling departments, as well as the Operations department.

The job as an Operations Director was to direct all managers except for the Community Managers, and the Engagement Managers, to make sure that everything is running as smoothly as possible. If issues had to be taken further, then there is a chance they were taken to the Operations Director.

On 22 February 2021, hv9690 resigned, with Operations being directed by the Community Director after that, as well as restructures in management. On 5 February 2022, the role was reinstated, with AsmeSolent becoming the first OD after the role was re-added. On 22 July 2023, AsmeSolent announced they were going to resign the day after in order to focus on other external and IRL commitments. On 12 August 2023, GameZotto was promoted to Operations Director.
