- This train was originally sneak-peeked along with the NGv3 upgrades for its sister trains, the Class 170 and the Class 171.
- This is the first train directly introduced as a Mesh Model.
- This train has the same sounds as the Class 170 and Class 171.
- With four cars, this train is the longest single consist DMU on Stepford Connect.
- Prior to Version 2.3, it was generally the longest DMU on the operator, including double consists.
